Volunteer of the Day

In honor of Public School Volunteer week, we'd like to take the opportunity to recognize some of the outstanding individuals that give back to our students and schools. Today we're honoring Connie Singleton of East Valley Elementary School!

Known to the students as Grandma Connie, Connie Singleton has been a dedicated volunteer to our E.V.E. 2nd grade team for 6 years. Grandma Connie comes to help out all day Tuesday-Friday. Mrs. Scully praises Connie saying, "We are very fortunate to have her." We thank Grandma Connie for her continued service to our schools and students. #EastValleyENGAGED

Skyward System Down

Update (Wednesday, April 23, 2018 @ 8:28AM) - Skyward will continue to be down through the rest of the day. Thank you for your patience.

Attention Families -
Due to a failure during a system upgrade, Skyward is currently experiencing service interruptions state-wide. They anticipate that these issues should be corrected by Wednesday. In the meantime, Family Access will not be operational. This means that families will be unable to add money to student lunch accounts and will not have access to Skyward grade books and other features. Students will not be denied lunch. All charges for lunches during the service interruption will be entered when systems are back in order.

We will keep you informed when service is restored.

Washington School Improvement Framework Released

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) recently released a new framework for identifying schools for additional support. Click the title of this article to get more information about how our East Valley Schools measured up.

As this is a new program, full details on how support will be implemented hasn’t yet been established within our district. As more information is released over the next few weeks, we will continue to add information to this webpage.

EVHS Construction Parking Plan

We are excited to begin construction on our East Valley High School project next week. Parking, bus lane and student pick-up/drop-off changes for East Valley High School will be in effect on Monday, March 19, 2018 to accommodate our construction project. Please review the attached map to prepare for these changes.
