On Friday, October 27, 2017, employees of the Yakima Children's Village visited East Valley Elementary students to spread a powerful message of awareness about students with disabilities, their differences and how to make sure everyone is included. The Kids on the Block puppet show engages students in a fun way while informing them of the challenges their peers may be facing and encouraging them to stand up in support of these friends if ever they are being treated unfairly.
